FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How old do I need to be to start lessons?
Students ages 4 and up are welcome in my studio! Lessons are structured differently based on age and playing level.
Do I have to buy my own books?
A studio fee of $35 is charged per semester (in January & August). I handle all the materials and book ordering!
How long are lessons and where will they take place?
Weekly lessons are 30 minutes in length and take place in my home studio (in Missouri City, at Hwy 6 and Trammel Fresno).
How often should my student practice?
A consistent practice routine is very important! Students are expected to practice for 10-15 minutes on at least 3-4 days per week. In lessons, we will learn lots of tips/strategies to practice well!
What does the lesson cost cover?
The tuition rate is all inclusive--this means that the cost covers much more than just your weekly lesson time. It reserves your spot in the schedule, all resources/materials, teacher planning and more.
Do you offer make-up lessons?
In order to run an efficient studio schedule, make-up lessons are not guaranteed. In the case of a missed lesson: if another time slot is available that week, it will be offered. Any lessons cancelled by the teacher will have a make-up option offered.
